About The Position

FTHRA is accepting applications for a Meal Site Coordinator at the Johnson City Senior Center on Bert Street working for Meals on Wheels. This is a part-time position Monday – Friday from 9:00am to 1:00pm paying $12.25 per hour. The role involves serving meals to seniors in a community setting and working with volunteers who deliver Meals on Wheels. Responsibilities include taking proper food temperatures, maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen, handling cash donations, and completing accurate paperwork. The position also requires potential meal delivery if volunteers are unavailable and making bank deposits.

Requirements

• Must be able to work well with others
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Must have your own vehicle
• Subject to drug screen and criminal background checks
• Must provide information about criminal history if required

Responsibilities

• Serve meals to seniors in a community setting
• Work with volunteers who deliver Meals on Wheels

• Keep a clean & sanitary kitchen
• Be responsible for cash donations
• Maintain accurate paperwork
• Deliver meals if the volunteer cannot
