Hardin/Logan County Meal Delivery Driver
About The Position
The Meal Delivery Driver delivers ordered meals and other assigned items to clients in Hardin and Logan County, using a personal or company vehicle. The role helps ensure clients receive meals and necessary items in a timely and efficient manner, supporting their well-being and quality of life. Drivers check orders for accuracy and completeness, load and deliver meals and related materials, maintain accurate delivery records, navigate to destinations, and provide professional customer service and assistance to clients as needed. The position is based at LifeCare Alliance - Harmon Avenue in Columbus, Ohio, and pays $13.00 per hour.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 18 years old.
- Own a reliable vehicle.
- Valid Ohio Driver’s License.
- Acceptable driving record.
- Adequate vehicle insurance.
- Ability to lift up to 45 pounds.
- Proficient in reading and writing and able to navigate using a map or GPS.
- Knowledge of Hardin and Logan County streets, roads, and highways.
- Strong organizational skills to manage delivery schedules and routes.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
- Ability to accurately record and manage delivery information.

Responsibilities
- Deliver meals and other assigned items to clients in Hardin and Logan County using a personal or company vehicle.
- Check orders for accuracy and completeness, including correctly counting meals and beverages.
- Load and deliver meals, written materials, and other items to designated locations.
- Accurately record delivery information and maintain detailed delivery logs.
- Navigate to delivery locations using a map or GPS and knowledge of local streets, roads, and highways.
- Conduct deliveries professionally and provide a high level of customer service.
- Communicate effectively with clients and provide assistance as needed.
- Follow company policies and procedures and comply with safety and operational standards.
