About The Position

Priority Management Group is seeking an MDS Nurse (LPN or RN) for Resthaven Living Center in Bogalusa, Louisiana. The position is responsible for completing the RAI and care management processes accurately and on time, from admission through discharge, in accordance with company policies and procedures and applicable federal, state, certification, and other relevant guidelines. With direction from the VP of Clinical Reimbursement, the nurse may also coordinate clinical department information-systems operations and education.

Requirements

Hold a current, unencumbered, active Louisiana license to practice as an LPN or RN.
Have training in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices.
Have working knowledge of managed care rules, regulations, and guidelines.
Be able to plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures necessary to provide quality care.

Nice To Haves

Three years of MDS experience in a nursing care facility is preferred.

Responsibilities

Complete the RAI process and care management process accurately and on time from admission through discharge, following company policies and procedures and applicable federal, state, certification, and other guidelines.
Complete Minimum Data Set documentation and discharge and admission tracking.
With direction from the VP of Clinical Reimbursement, coordinate information-systems operations and education for the clinical department, as needed.
