MDS Coordinator RN
About The Position
Aviata Health Group is seeking a qualified RN MDS Coordinator to join its team. The role coordinates and participates in completion of the Resident Assessment Instrument, including MDS, CAA’s, and care plans, in accordance with current federal and state regulations. The coordinator monitors and documents management of Medicare and Managed Care residents in collaboration with facility team members, and contributes ideas and process improvements to support quality healthcare and superior results. The position is based at 4641 Old Canoe Creek Road, Saint Cloud, Florida 34769-1550. The employer describes its workplace as a family/team environment and is an equal opportunity employer. Requirements
- Must possess a current, unencumbered, active state license to practice as an RN.
- Six months of experience as an MDS Coordinator.
- Be qualified, compassionate, and dedicated to a job well done.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in Skilled Nursing/Rehabilitation facilities is preferred.
- RAC-CT or RNAC is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the coordination of and participate in completing the Resident Assessment Instrument (MDS, CAA’s, and Care Plan) in accordance with current federal and state regulations.
- Monitor and document the management of Medicare and Managed Care residents in collaboration with facility team members.
- Create and implement ideas and concepts that continually improve systems and processes and support superior results.
