About The Position

Avalon Care Center at Northpointe in Spokane, Washington, is hiring a full-time MDS Coordinator RN. The role supports exceptional resident care in a resident-centered environment and contributes to the facility’s clinical and financial success by driving quality outcomes and ensuring accurate assessments. The position offers $60.00–$65.00 per hour and a $5,000 sign-on bonus. Pay is based on experience, qualifications, and skills. Requirements

• Current Washington RN license or eligibility under the Nurse Licensure Compact.
• Previous MDS and skilled nursing facility experience.
• Strong knowledge of the RAI process and case management.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to pass required employment screenings.

Responsibilities

• Lead the MDS and resident assessment process.
• Ensure assessments and documentation are completed accurately and on time.
• Coordinate care planning with the interdisciplinary team.
• Support Medicare and Managed Care requirements.
• Help drive quality outcomes and reimbursement accuracy.
• Serve as a key resource for MDS, care planning, and compliance.
