About The Position

Surge Rehab and Nursing is seeking a qualified, dedicated RN to join its team as an RN MDS Assessor. The position requires mandatory sub-acute nursing experience; MDS experience is preferred. The successful candidate will have working knowledge of the MDS and PPS processes and be able to meet deadlines. They must be detail-oriented, highly organized, able to work independently and as part of a team, and have excellent communication skills and the ability to follow oral and written instructions. Solid computer skills are required, and SIGMACARE experience is preferred. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with hours worked as scheduled based on position assignment requirements.

Requirements

• NYS Licensed RN.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience.
• Sub-acute nursing experience is mandatory.
• Detail-oriented, highly organized, and dedicated.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Solid computer skills.
• Working knowledge of MDS and PPS processes.
• Ability to meet deadlines.
