About The Position

Join GE Wind’s Offshore Main Component Update (MCU) team, responsible for the strategy, tools, and workforce supporting major component exchanges on offshore wind turbines. The Offshore MCU Project Manager provides strategic leadership for the full lifecycle of heavy corrective maintenance projects, from vessel load-out through completion of mechanical and electrical operations. The role leads the MCU project team and engineering functions, manages client and subcontractor interfaces, and ensures safe, on-time, on-budget delivery of major component exchange and update scopes across wind farm projects. The position is fully accountable for MCU deliverables, schedule, and budget, and reports to the Head of MCU Department. It translates corporate standards into project execution plans tailored to customer requirements and local regulations, and is authorized to make technical, logistical, and financial decisions within the MCU scope. The role works closely with Sourcing, EHS, Engineering Back-Office/Project, and Commercial/Tender teams, and serves as the primary external interface with clients, Marine Warranty Surveyors, vessel suppliers, and other third parties. The position is fully remote, based in the United States, with offshore travel and mobilization to project sites as needed for campaign support.
