About The Position

We are currently seeking MBA summer interns to support our Global Product Development and Commercialization (PDC). The PDC teams are responsible for developing and realizing the strategy for Biogen’s products from Phase III initiation, through pre-launch planning, launch and commercialization, and ongoing life cycle management. The role(s) will be based in Cambridge, MA. MBA Interns will be responsible for completing project(s) that deal with strategic business issues. These project(s) will provide the Interns exposure to business leaders and cross-functional areas. Participants will be expected to demonstrate in-depth understanding of the critical issues, decision-making, and project management skills. The participant will be required to work independently as well as in a team environment. Assignments will be based on business needs as well as candidate experience and interest. The candidate(s) will work extensively with other commercial, market access and medical team members as well as the cross functional team (including Clinical Development, Clinical Operations, Research, Regulatory, Pharmaceutical Operations and Technology) and regions/affiliates.

Responsibilities

• Assess opportunities to enhance product profile through life cycle management
• Assess competitive landscape and ensure readiness for key events
• Develop understanding of the market to inform our product strategies and activities
• Develop strategy for biomarker / screening and diagnostic approaches, tools and partnerships
• Determine alternative product distribution scenarios
• Assess market opportunity for assets under consideration for BD activity
