About The Position

This position is reported directly to Line 1 Supervisor. The MB Utility Tech will validate all SOS are signed off, ensure and validate receivers, participate in Physical inventory, and manage the accuracy of 3PL. They will also perform safety audits, lead their area to achieve production goals, and be responsible for the security of the area and maintaining inventory accuracy. This role requires working overtime and weekends, training new team members, and motivating employees to perform their best. The MB Utility Tech will assist the lead in the department and may fill in for him/her if absent, and also assist the materials coordinator and may fill in for him/her if absent. The successful applicant will be notified by his/her supervisor of the start date for the new assignment. Successful applicants will be evaluated during their first 5 days in the new position. If not capable of performing the new duties, they will be returned to either their previous job or any open position for which they qualify.

Requirements

• Be able to plan to prevent part shortages.
• Must have working Knowledge of all areas within the department.
• Communication skills necessary to accurately issue materials to recipients.
• Math & computer skills to calculate inventory.
• Strong leadership abilities.
• Strong organizational skills required.

Responsibilities
