About The Position

The Budd Group is seeking a reliable and hardworking Utility Technician to support operations at their Madison campus. This role involves performing day porter duties while also assisting nighttime staff with various tasks to ensure the facility remains clean, safe, and well-maintained.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in maintenance, facilities, or handyman services.
• A strong work ethic and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work professionally with colleagues and follow instructions clearly.
• Comfort with lifting, bending, and moving objects throughout your shift.
• Must be able to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Lead the setup and breakdown for meetings and special events, including arranging tables, chairs, and equipment.
• Manage and maintain essential supplies for the facility to ensure the team has what they need.
• Facilitate the internal transport of materials and provide hands-on support as a Utility Technician.
• Conduct routine hazard checks and perform minor maintenance tasks like furniture adjustments or equipment troubleshooting.
• Act as a Facilities Associate by assisting the janitorial team with operational tasks to ensure an exceptional environment for clients.
