About The Position

Think Zone, part of TAL Education Group, is hiring a part-time Math Tutor to provide engaging, personalized math instruction to K–8 students at its Milpitas learning center. This role is designed for high school and college students, as well as people with a high school diploma, who enjoy helping children learn. Tutors explain math concepts, encourage problem-solving and critical thinking, support students’ confidence, track progress using the center’s curriculum and resources, and build positive relationships with students and families. Lesson planning is not required; curriculum, materials, and training are provided.

The position offers 6–12 hours per week, with opportunities for additional hours, and is scheduled around school commitments. Tutors typically work 2–4 shifts per week. Saturday availability is strongly preferred. The program dates are June 2, 2026 through June 5, 2027. Pay is $19.00–$20.00 per hour. Think Zone describes opportunities to develop leadership, communication, and teaching skills, with potential growth into Lead Tutor, Assistant Manager, and Learning Center Manager roles.

Requirements
