About The Position

Huntington Learning Center is hiring Math Tutors to work directly with students ages 5 to 18. Tutors provide instruction in Mathematics and may support other subjects and test preparation offered by the center, including Reading, Writing, Study Skills, Science, History, and ACT/SAT Preparation. Tutors complete intensive initial and ongoing training in Huntington’s teaching methods and curriculum. The role offers an opportunity to help students succeed without writing lesson plans or grading homework, in a flexible environment with after-school, weekend, and summer instructional hours.

Requirements

• Must be caring.
• Must be qualified.
• Must be committed to the success of students.
• Must have a Bachelor's Degree.

Responsibilities

• Tutor students directly in Mathematics.
• Help students meet their educational goals and succeed in school.
