About The Position
Brightmont Academy is hiring a part-time Math & Science Teacher to provide personalized one-to-one instruction to students in grades 1–12. Teachers tailor lessons to individual student needs and learning styles and guide students toward mastery using a gradual-release approach that builds confidence and academic success. The position offers a flexible schedule and focuses on teaching without lesson planning, parent conferences, or grading responsibilities. Professional development opportunities are available.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject area, such as Math, Chemistry, Physics, Engineering, or Biology.
- Patience and empathy, with a commitment to supporting students with different learning needs.
- Genuine passion for teaching and sharing subject knowledge.
- Proficiency using G-Suite and Learning Management Software (LMS).
- Ability to provide fingerprints in Arizona or Washington, if applicable, and pass a federal background check.

- Teaching certification.
- Advanced degree in a specific subject area of expertise.
- Previous one-to-one teaching experience.
