About The Position

Mathnasium of North Alpharetta is seeking an Assistant Center Director to support the Center Director and help deliver individualized math instruction to students in grades 2–12. The role combines educational leadership, student and family support, sales responsibilities, staff coaching, and administrative work. The assistant director teaches and tutors using the Mathnasium Method™ in-center, online, and/or through hybrid delivery, and helps maintain a safe, professional learning environment. The position offers consistent part-time or full-time hours after school and on weekends, a supportive work culture, training, and opportunities for advancement. Compensation is $19.00–$25.00 per hour. Mathnasium centers are independently owned and operated by franchisees, who are responsible for employment matters and serve as the employer.

Requirements

Passion for math and working with students.
Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
Eagerness to learn and be trained.
Ability to cultivate teamwork and balance education and sales responsibilities.
Exceptional math competency through at least Algebra I.
Proficiency in computer skills.
Pass a math literacy test demonstrating math proficiency.
Provide work authorization and pass a background check.

Responsibilities

Support the Center Director in administering student assessments and developing student learning plans.
Assist with sales responsibilities, including responding promptly to leads and enrolling students.
Build relationships with families, provide exceptional customer service, and communicate student progress.
Lead and coach team members in delivering individualized instruction in a group setting.
Manage students’ learning progress and engagement during instructional sessions.
Mentor employees and provide on-the-job training to instructional staff.
Teach and tutor in-center, online, and/or through hybrid delivery using the Mathnasium Method™, terminology, and teaching practices.
Become proficient with digital educational materials and processes.
Help maintain a safe and professional learning environment.
Assist with administrative tasks as needed.
