About The Position

The Assistant Math Learning Center Director supports the Center Director in helping K–12 students learn math. The role involves identifying student needs, developing customized learning plans, supporting enrollment and sales, communicating with families, and coaching team members to deliver individualized instruction in a group setting. The assistant director also monitors students’ learning progress and engagement during instructional sessions. This is a part-time role with consistent hours after school and on weekends. The center offers a supportive work culture, ongoing training in education, sales, and management, and opportunities for advancement. Applicants must take a math literacy test as part of the hiring process. Mathnasium locations are independently operated by franchisees, who are responsible for employment matters; the hiring franchisee would be the employee’s employer.

Requirements

Pass a math literacy test demonstrating math proficiency.
Have a passion for math and be able to teach math up to middle-school level.
Be eager to learn and be trained.
Be able to cultivate teamwork and balance diverse responsibilities.

Nice To Haves

Previous customer relationships and sales experience.
