About The Position

Huntington Learning Center is seeking a motivated, organized professional to lead the day-to-day operations of a learning center. The Learning Center Director combines education, leadership, customer service, and business operations to support student success. The role works with families to understand students’ needs, supports and coaches instructors, oversees daily operations, and helps expand access to the center’s programs. Paid initial and ongoing training is provided.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• At least 3 years of experience in education, customer service, or management.
• Strong communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead a team.
• Confidence communicating with parents about student needs.
• A proactive approach and genuine interest in helping students succeed.

Nice To Haves

• Teaching or tutoring experience is strongly preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee student programs by monitoring progress, reviewing academic needs, and helping ensure students receive individualized instruction.
• Meet with parents to discuss student progress, goals, and program recommendations.
• Supervise, coach, and motivate part-time teachers.
• Manage daily operations, including scheduling, invoicing, payroll tracking, and other administrative responsibilities.
• Build relationships with local schools and educators to increase awareness of Huntington’s programs.
• Work with students and provide tutoring when needed.
