About The Position

Innovamat is an educational organization specializing in mathematics education. Founded in Barcelona in 2017, it provides a research-based math program for Early Childhood through Secondary Education, integrating curriculum, teacher training, assessment, and intervention. The organization operates in 9 countries and works with more than 31,000 teachers across 3,300+ schools, reaching more than 720,000 students. Its program has independently validated efficacy data, and it was the first non-American organization to pass the California State Board of Education adoption process for a core math curriculum. The Math Instructional Coach will be based in Sacramento and travel approximately 30–50% of the time to schools and districts. The role works directly alongside teachers in classrooms, building coaching relationships and supporting educators from their initial implementation of Innovamat through becoming confident, independent practitioners.
