About The Position

The Math Department Assistant’s main duty is creating social media posts and posters using Canva. The role also supports the department with bulletin board updates, event preparations, day-to-day tasks for faculty and office personnel, and occasional pickups and deliveries around campus. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• Proficiency with social media platforms.
• Proficiency with Canva.
• Ability to work independently.
• Punctual, reliable, and organized, with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with a friendly demeanor.
• Ability to climb a 3-step ladder.
• Ability to lift 10 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Create social media posts and posters using Canva.
