About The Position

Apex Academy is seeking a Math and Science Teacher for 6th grade. Located in Cleveland, Ohio, Apex Academy opened in 2004 and serves more than 475 K–8 students each year. The role involves creating an engaging classroom environment, using an established curriculum and available curricular resources to support student success, and analyzing student data to guide instruction. The teacher works collaboratively with fellow teachers and support staff to meet students’ goals and individual needs, and participates in professional development and orientation activities. Apex Academy offers starting pay above market scales, an experienced leadership team, strong staff support, a safe learning environment with internal and external cameras, high parent involvement, behavioral support for teachers and students through ABSS, and a dean support model. Requirements

Hold a valid teacher license or meet alternative requirements.
