About The Position
Cochran is a growing civil engineering, construction testing, and land surveying firm with six offices in Missouri and a team of more than 100 professionals. The firm serves public and private projects across municipal, commercial, residential, transportation, water/wastewater, site development, retail, planning, and interior design sectors. Its work is guided by teamwork, excellence, quality, and trust, with a focus on customer service and principal involvement throughout project phases. The posting also describes a Land Survey Field Technician role. Candidates should be dependable, approach assigned tasks maturely and efficiently, and enjoy working outdoors in varied weather. Work is outdoors in all weather, with occasional office work, and often involves moderate physical exertion. Standard field activities require walking, bending, sitting, and standing for extended periods. A valid driver's license and acceptable driving record are required for insurance purposes.
Requirements
- Dependability and a mature approach to completing assigned tasks efficiently.
- Enjoyment of outdoor work in various types of weather.
- Valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record for insurance purposes.
- 5+ years of land survey experience.
Nice To Haves
- Understanding of AutoCAD.
- Experience with Trimble Total Station.
- Experience with GPS equipment.
