Cochran is seeking a Materials Testing Field Technician for its Union, Missouri location. The technician performs or assists with field tests and observations of construction materials, including concrete, soil, asphalt, and aggregate. The role is suited to a candidate with one to two years of prior experience or general knowledge of standard construction practices.

Requirements

• One to two years of prior experience or general knowledge of standard construction practices; one to two years of experience is preferred.
• Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and interpretation.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to read blueprints and construction documents.
• Ability to work in a field environment.
• Ability to lift and move up to 75 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• ACI Concrete Field Testing-Grade I certification is preferred.
• One to two years of prior experience is preferred.
