About The Position

Advanced Infrared Solutions (AIRS), formerly American Infrared Solutions, was acquired by Anduril Industries in 2025 and operates as part of the Imaging Business Line. AIRS designs and builds cooled infrared cameras and subsystems, including Integrated Dewar Cooler Assemblies (IDCAs), at its site in Hudson, New Hampshire. The business is expanding production for Anduril’s Imaging products and external customers in the defense, space, and commercial industrial sectors.

The Materials & Quality Specialist oversees warehouse inventory accuracy and material flow. The role helps keep physical inventory aligned with ERP records, performs cycle counts, collaborates with production and purchasing teams, and improves processes. The position also supplies materials to the production floor through daily kitting in accordance with the monthly Production Plan.

Requirements

• High school or vocational school diploma at minimum.
• At least 5 years of experience in Material Management, Manufacturing Operations, or a related field.
• Experience with ERP systems.
• Experience with mechanical inspection tools such as calipers, XRF, and CMM.
• Hands-on attitude and strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
• Able to lift, carry, handle, or transport up to 50 pounds unassisted.

Responsibilities

• Support the receipt, identification, and documentation of inventory.
• Support the shipping and receipt, identification, and documentation of inventory.
• Ensure physical inventory stock levels and locations match quantities and locations in the ERP system.
• Maintain inventory accuracy, perform cycle counts, and optimize physical space.
• Execute the cycle-counting process between physical inventory and the ERP system.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to review, identify, and resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Collaborate with Purchasing and Production teams regarding inventory counts and locations.
• Improve processes to address root causes of discrepancies and prevent recurrence.
• Supply the production floor with needed materials through daily kitting according to the monthly Production Plan.
