About The Position

SLB is seeking a Materials Coordinator to support inventory integrity and material availability across warehouse and manufacturing operations. The role supports efficient supply chain processes and production requirements, and contributes to continuous improvement in a fast-paced operational environment. The position requires commuting to Sugar Land and Stafford locations and residing in the Houston, Texas area.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, materials coordination, or a related supply chain role.
• Experience with SAP Warehouse Management (WM) and/or warehouse management systems.
• Knowledge of inventory control, stock transactions, and warehouse processes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Must reside in the Houston, Texas area and be able to commute to Sugar Land and Stafford locations.
• Must be legally authorized to work and reside in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Execute material receiving, storage, issuance, transfers, cycle counting, and scrap transactions.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and warehouse transactions in SAP and WMS.
• Resolve inventory discrepancies and support corrective actions.
• Coordinate material availability with internal stakeholders to meet operational requirements.
• Analyze inventory performance and support efforts to reduce excess and obsolete stock.
• Facilitate material movements in compliance with documentation and quality requirements.
• Provide system and process support for inventory and warehouse operations.
• Participate in Lean and continuous improvement activities, including 5S, Kitting, and Kanban.
• Follow inventory control standards, warehouse procedures, and audit requirements.
