About The Position

The Materials Specialist will work with storeroom personnel at multiple power generation plants across South Carolina. The role involves creating new items and syncing data between Maximo and SAP, ensuring SOX compliance, and handling additional inventory tasks as needed. The position is based in Cayce, South Carolina, for a seven-month duration, with eight-hour workdays Monday through Friday and a start time between 07:00 and 08:00.

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of related work experience.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
• Knowledge of materials management, procurement processes, and inventory control.
• Understanding of material and service contract law.
• Familiarity with environmental, government/legal, and regulatory requirements.
• Skills in inventory analysis techniques.
• Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Basic forecasting and trend analysis skills.
• Computer and value/cost analysis skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Ability to process information quickly and accurately.
• Organizational skills.
