About The Position

The Shipping Supervisor develops and coordinates shipping activities through standardized work instructions. Shipping activities focus on company targets to ensure customer satisfaction, with a main objective of improving customer delivery performance. The role includes coordinating releases and shipping schedules, preparing and validating shipping documentation, maintaining records, responding to customer tickets and complaints, and supporting shipping operations.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with database applications and administration systems, specifically Microsoft Office.
• Highly motivated, service-oriented, and team-oriented, with attention to detail.
• Strong analytical ability.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated good internal customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Download releases through the trusted link process on CMS.
• Ensure releases have not been duplicated.
• Follow up on weekly and daily shipping schedules.
• Obtain transportation access authorization.
• Generate shipping paperwork.
• Validate ASNs.
• Maintain paperwork records.
• Respond to customer tickets.
• Report open issues during shift changes.
• Order materials, supplies, or equipment.
• Prepare documentation for contracts, transactions, or regulatory compliance.
• Package objects for shipping.
• Deliver items.
• Respond to customer problems or complaints.
