About The Position

Responsible for managing inventory and purchasing procedures for raw materials and other supplies. The role maintains appropriate inventory levels, develops supplier and material options, oversees the annual physical inventory, supervises staff, and coordinates with product line coordinators to plan and forecast customer orders. It also purchases supplies according to specifications, negotiates with suppliers, and ensures materials department procedures are followed. This position does not require patient care.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
3–5 years of directly related experience.
Ability to lead team members.
Customer service orientation.
Familiarity with supply chain and inventory management systems.
Knowledge of forecasting and budgeting.
Ability to solve problems swiftly.
Working knowledge of SAP MM.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
In-depth knowledge of supply chain and inventory management systems.
Hands-on experience with forecasting and budgeting.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Analytical thinking and problem-solving aptitude.
Strong communication and leadership skills.

Nice To Haves

2–3 years of experience in a supervisory role.

Responsibilities

Maintain optimum inventory levels to ensure on-time deliveries and meet customer requirements.
Explore new materials, suppliers, and processes to achieve the best possible quality, reliability, prices, continuity, and delivery.
Establish procedures for and supervise the annual physical inventory.
Supervise, evaluate, and coach staff members.
Interface with product line coordinators to plan and forecast customer orders and meet shipment requirements.
Maintain relationships with and negotiate with suppliers.
Purchase supplies and materials in accordance with specifications.
Ensure standard practices and procedures are followed for all materials department functions.
