About The Position

Delivers supplies to user departments and processes requests for stock items. Maintains patient care equipment and performs receiving, storeroom, and linen distribution functions as directed. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Knowledge of medical and non-medical supplies.
• Skill in communicating clearly and effectively using standard English in written, oral, and verbal formats to achieve high productivity and efficiency.
• Ability to write legibly and record information accurately as necessary to perform job duties.
• Working knowledge of the Materials Management Information System and general warehouse/storeroom operations.
• Basic computer skills.

Nice To Haves

• Six months of experience working with patient care supplies and equipment.
• Previous experience in medical supplies, including the ability to calculate usage and demand and knowledge of basic purchasing procedures.
• One year of training.

Responsibilities

• Delivers supplies to user departments.
• Maintains inventory control for assigned areas to ensure customer supply needs are met.
• Processes requests for stock items.
• Performs data entry related to the patient charge sheet process.
• Maintains patient care equipment.
• Performs receiving and storeroom functions.
• Performs related accountabilities and responsibilities as required or directed.
• Completes assigned goals.
