About The Position

Delivers supplies to user departments, processes requests for stock items, and maintains patient care equipment. Performs receiving and storeroom functions and linen distribution functions as directed. Maintains inventory control for assigned areas to ensure customer supply needs are met, performs data entry related to the patient charge sheet process, completes assigned goals, and performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Knowledge of medical and non-medical supplies.
• Skill in communicating clearly and effectively using standard English in written, oral, and verbal formats to achieve high productivity and efficiency.
• Ability to write legibly and record information accurately as necessary to perform job duties.
• Working knowledge of the Materials Management Information System and general warehouse/storeroom operations.
• Basic computer skills.

Nice To Haves

• Six months of experience working with patient care supplies and equipment.
• Previous experience in medical supplies, including the ability to calculate usage and demand and knowledge of basic purchasing procedures.
• One year of experience or training in Materials Management Information Systems and general warehouse/storeroom operations.
