About The Position

The Materials Handling Technician assists the Materials Management Coordinator and Shipping Coordinator with duties as necessary. The role includes operating power equipment and pulling and packing shipments for distributors and customers. The position reports to the Warehouse Supervisor and is temporary.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Maintain a valid driver's license and meet the company's requirements for insurability under its automobile insurance policy.
Be able to stand for extended periods.
Be able to lift and carry up to 75 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

Place product into the Finished Goods inventory walk-in cooler and freezer.
Place incoming raw materials into quarantine and/or inventory according to Raw Material Specifications and SOPs.
Remove kits from inventory for shipping and confirm the catalog number, lot number, and product quantity.
Select the correct consignee and shipping address.
Select appropriate shipping containers and packaging according to SOP STD/0200.
Assist the Materials Management Coordinator with maintaining stock of PPE and department material supplies.
Fulfill in-house product requests and removals.
Organize warehouses and walk-in coolers.
Back up the TECHLAB Liaison with freight carriers.
Deliver incoming shipments to the appropriate departments.
Back up Inventory Control for production movements.
Assist with courier duties as needed.
Perform other duties as required by the department.
