About The Position

The Material Handler is responsible for efficiently moving, storing, and tracking raw materials, components, and finished goods within the manufacturing facility. The role ensures timely delivery of materials to production areas and maintains accurate inventory records to support continuous operations. The position includes lifting up to 50 lbs consistently and working up to 10 hours per day, with weekends as needed. A valid driver’s license is required, along with passing a background check and drug screening.

Nice To Haves

• 1–3 years of material handling or warehouse experience in a manufacturing environment.
• SAP knowledge.
• Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment; certification preferred.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems and basic computer skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of safety procedures for handling hazardous materials.

Responsibilities

• Follow all company safety guidelines and protocols.
• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders.
• Transport materials to storage or production areas using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment.
• Prepare and stage materials for production according to work orders.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and perform cycle counts.
• Assist with loading and unloading trucks and prepare outbound shipments.
• Promptly report discrepancies, damages, or shortages.
• Keep work areas clean and organized to support a safe environment.
