About The Position

Blount Fine Foods is a family-owned manufacturer, marketer, and developer of premium fresh prepared foods. The Materials Handler works in a fast-paced, cold production environment and is expected to be reliable, detail-oriented, flexible, team-oriented, and able to follow procedures. The role is on the first shift. During peak season, the schedule is 5–6 days per week for 8–12 hours per day.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, cold environment.
• A can-do attitude, flexibility, attention to detail, reliability, and a team-oriented approach.
• Ability to follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Complete required paperwork accurately and honestly, where applicable.
• Follow posted Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) when working in the production facility.
• Use RF equipment.
