About The Position
The Materials Coordinator facilitates the distribution of supplies and equipment throughout the hospital campuses to various departments. This role involves fulfilling department requisitions and delivering items in a timely manner, as well as inventory and restocking of assigned clinical departments. Other job tasks may be assigned as needed.
Requirements
- Must be able to read, write and understand the English language.
- Excellent public relations skills and ability to communicate with others.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.

- Storeroom experience in a hospital setting or in a similar field.
Responsibilities
- Maintains a stock level inventory for assigned nursing departments, consistent with established policy.
- Ensures the storeroom and supply rooms are always neat and orderly.
- Fulfills and delivers requisitioned supplies to various departments.
- Delivers received goods to various departments and obtains signatures of receipt on Delivery Tickets.
- Ensures that carts or dollies are not overloaded or carelessly loaded during transportation.
- Assists in maintaining inventory control and makes corrections when discrepancies arise.
