About The Position

The Materials Coordinator Team Leader is responsible for coordinating and facilitating all team activities within the Materials Management department related to maintaining, monitoring, and coordinating the receiving and distribution of supplies in the Materials Management Receiving Department. This role also involves recording receipts in the Tissue Implant Module System. The team leader is responsible for training and developing other team members to ensure the maximum desirable performance level in accordance with the overall mission of Beaufort Memorial Hospital. The team leader works with internal and external distributors to ensure that regulatory compliance for supplies are adopted. Team leaders serve as a mentor and positive role model for fellow members of the team and other members of the health care system. The team leader demonstrates the highest of work ethics and values as affirmed in the behavioral standards and mission of Beaufort Memorial Hospital.

Requirements

• General knowledge of receiving, inventory, distribution, and computer entries.
• Medical background in purchasing, inventory control, and distribution of medical supplies.

Nice To Haves

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Meditech experience preferred.
