About The Position

This position is responsible for the cycle counting function, which includes all inventory items as well as, work-in-process (WIP) items and FG items. Responsible for maintaining accurate inventory data at all times. Will be required to work in high places and operate forklift and lift trucks at times. This position also supports receiving specialists throughout the day along with reviewing work order documentation for accuracy and correctness. Displays Viant Values. Acts after approval, weighs actions and acts only after their supervisor has approved their chosen action. Follows standardized procedures and practices. Work is generally collaborative in nature. Directed in several aspects of the work.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
0-2 years cycle counting/warehouse experience.
Basic math and organization skills, detail oriented
Ability to bend and lift 40 pounds
Data entry and computer skills
Ability to work on feet for long hours
Forklift skills suggested

Responsibilities

Perform regular cycle counts of finished goods and components
Verify the accuracy of inventory
Aid in locating materials in Warehouse
Investigate discrepancies between electronic and actual inventory counts on shop floor
Performs root cause analysis on large discrepancies as applicable.
Make periodic adjustments to electronic inventory to match physical counts
Perform other duties and assist in other areas as needed
Review WO documentation, review misc requisitions to confirm MR have been processed, process any misc requisitions that have not been processed.
Review WO for any necessary reconciliations, additions or corrections as applicable.
