Material Technician/Packager, 3rd Shift

About The Position

The Material Technician/Packager reviews order instructions and labels and packages materials according to customer specifications and quality standards. The role uses tools and equipment such as micrometers, calipers, tape guns, and banding equipment. The technician identifies and reports damage or quality issues, follows safety guidelines, and wears personal protective equipment. The position collaborates with the production crew to meet assigned goals and completes additional job-related responsibilities as assigned. The schedule is Sunday through Thursday, 10:45 p.m. to 6:45 a.m., with overtime as required. The starting pay rate is $17.00 per hour, with the possibility of higher pay based on experience.

Requirements

Minimal manufacturing and/or warehouse experience is required.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to operate assigned equipment safely.
Effective communication skills.
Ability to frequently lift or move up to 50 pounds.
Ability to mount and dismount equipment.
Ability to walk, climb, and bend for periods of time.
Comfort working in hot and cold atmospheres depending on weather conditions.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent.
Two years of manufacturing and/or warehouse experience.
Basic computer skills, such as data entry and retrieval.
Lift truck operation experience.
