About The Position
J.F. Sobieski Mechanical Contractors, Inc. is hiring a full-time Material Runner to support field mechanics on residential new construction projects. The role delivers HVAC and plumbing materials from the warehouse to nearby construction sites using a company pickup truck, helping ensure projects are completed on schedule. Requirements
- Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
- 8 to 10 years of driving experience.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
- Ability to pass a fitness test and handle the physical demands of the job.
- Desire to learn either the HVAC or plumbing trade.
Responsibilities
- Deliver HVAC and plumbing materials from the warehouse to surrounding residential new construction sites using a company pickup truck.
- Support field mechanics and help ensure projects are completed on schedule.
- Follow safe driving practices and handle materials accurately and safely.
