About The Position

Emerald Technologies is hiring a Material Kitting Associate for its San Jose team. The role supports material flow and production by stocking materials in kitting cells, preparing parts for assembly, transporting kits within the facility, removing materials from system inventory, and compiling accurate stock records. The associate works on the production floor and uses scanning equipment and computer systems to track inventory and process transactions. The position requires compliance with ISO, safety, ESD, and company procedures. Applicants must qualify as a U.S. Person under ITAR export-control regulations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• If the candidate does not have a high school diploma, at least 1 year of relevant manufacturing or material-handling experience is required.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident as defined by ITAR (22 CFR § 120.15); applicants must qualify as a U.S. Person under ITAR.

Responsibilities

• Assemble kits and manuals accurately according to written schedules and part-picking orders.
• Perform physical cycle counts, investigate causes of errors, and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
• Enter data into the business system and perform standard material-transfer transactions and corrections, understanding their implications.
• Use scanning equipment and basic computer systems to track inventory flow throughout the facility.
• Maintain a strong, continuous presence on the production floor to help drive process improvements.
• Follow ISO, safety, ESD, and internal company policies and procedures.
• Stock materials in kitting cells, transport kits within the facility, remove materials from system inventory, and compile accurate stock records.
