About The Position

Emerald Technologies is hiring a Material Kitting Associate to join its San Jose team. The role supports material handling and assembly operations by stocking materials in kitting cells, preparing kits for assembly, transporting kits within the facility, removing materials from system inventory, and compiling stock records. The associate also helps maintain accurate inventory and supports process improvements on the production floor.

Emerald Technologies is an electronics manufacturing services provider serving original equipment manufacturer customers with high-reliability electronic assemblies. The company has design and manufacturing facilities in California, Michigan, New Hampshire, and Oregon, as well as China and Malaysia. This position requires access to information subject to U.S. export control regulations. Applicants must qualify as a U.S. Person under ITAR.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident as defined by ITAR (22 CFR § 120.15).
• If the candidate does not have a high school diploma, at least 1 year of relevant manufacturing or material handling experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble kits and manuals accurately by following written schedules and part-picking orders.
• Perform physical cycle counts, investigate causes of inventory errors, and reconcile discrepancies.
• Enter data into the business system and execute standard material transfer transactions and corrections, understanding their implications.
• Use scanning equipment and basic computer systems to track inventory flow throughout the facility.
• Maintain a strong, continuous presence on the production floor to help drive process improvements.
• Adhere to ISO, safety, ESD, and internal company policies and procedures.
• Stock materials in kitting cells, kit parts for assembly, transport kits within the facility, remove materials from system inventory, and compile accurate stock records.
