About The Position

Symbia Logistics is seeking a creative and dynamic Material Handling Equipment Operator to perform various warehouse activities. This role offers an opportunity for career growth and learning new skills, moving beyond typical warehouse jobs. Responsibilities include operating equipment such as Forklifts, Cherry Pickers, Reach trucks, and Pallet Jacks, as well as performing tasks like receiving, data input, sorting, loading, unloading, packaging, and scanning products using up-to-date technology. The position also involves inventory duties, organizing, processing, and pick/pack/ship operations for clients. A strong attention to detail is crucial for inspecting products for defects and reporting damages. Symbia aims to be a long-term career destination for its employees.

Requirements

Personality: a dynamic, growth minded employee who is most comfortable being themselves!
High school diploma or GED
Prior experience operating Forklifts, Reach Trucks, Cherry Pickers, etc.
Strong working knowledge and prior experience with warehouse data systems.
Excellent communication and inventory skills.

Responsibilities

Take initiative to process, pack, and ship orders accurately and timely.
Utilize RF guns.
Utilize equipment such as Forklifts, Reach Trucks, Cherry Pickers, etc.
Compete against previous best and teammates in performance standards, while being safe.
Lead by example in an ethical manner, doing the right thing even when no one is looking.
Maintain inventory of products and help to restock or replenish.
Inspect products for damages and report findings to your supervisor.
Help maintain a clean and orderly warehouse environment.
Receive and appropriately sort and store incoming products.
Prepare products for shipping and ensuring accuracy against packing slips.
Follow all safety protocol and warehouse procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
