About The Position

The Material Handling Equipment Operator is responsible for loading and unloading merchandise from trucks and safely moving material within the warehouse by carrying, lifting, and safely operating a hand truck, or skid steer. The role includes a minimum of 1 hour of pay for brief on-call skid steer duties. Requirements

• Willingness to gain a vast knowledge of consumable products
• Excellent communication skills, high attention to detail, and ability to multitask
• Ability to stand for an extended period of time
• Able to walk, reach, climb ladders, and bend to perform job duties
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently
• At least 18 years of age

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a retail environment preferred

Responsibilities

• Help unload and load trucks in a safe manner
• Receive and sort
• Operate a skid steer or pallet jack safely and efficiently
• Help maintain strict organization in the backroom
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service
