About The Position

As a Materials Handling 3 team member at Collins Aerospace, you will support operational goals by ensuring the efficient movement, storage, and shipment of materials. The role is based onsite in Salt Lake City, Utah, and involves packing and shipping outbound shipments, processing incoming purchase orders, operating material-handling equipment, and maintaining accurate inventory records. You will follow safety protocols and perform routine inventory checks. Daily duties include lifting and moving items weighing up to 25 pounds.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent, or vocational education in a related discipline.
Five years of experience in logistics, material handling, or a related field.
Forklift certification and professional experience operating forklifts.
Experience using SAP or similar inventory management software.
U.S. citizenship is required because only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Responsibilities

Pack and ship outbound shipments accurately and on time.
Receive and process incoming purchase orders.
Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment to transport products and materials safely.
Maintain accurate inventory records using SAP or similar inventory management software.
Conduct routine inventory checks to verify data accuracy and stock availability.
Follow safety protocols and guidelines when handling materials and operating equipment.
Lift and move items weighing up to 25 pounds.
