About The Position

The Material Handling employee works on-site and may be assigned to any station or area during the workday based on staffing, production demands, experience, training, and skill level. The role handles freight and materials, supports production and storage operations, and may involve extended periods working outdoors. The position is safety-sensitive and may require additional drug screening.

Requirements

• PIV certification.
• Ability to read and write English to understand assembly directions, Work Order packets, and safety instructions.
• Completion of basic forklift training and safety orientation.
• 3–6 months of material handling experience.
• Strong computer skills.
• Good verbal communication and analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Ability to work in a team setting and maintain a positive work attitude.
• Ability to keep up with high volume in a fast-moving environment.
• Ability to lift 35 lbs. as requested.

Nice To Haves

• Yard Tractor, Straddle Crane, or comparable heavy-machine operating experience.

Responsibilities

• Receive, check in, and process freight.
• Deliver freight to warehouses or usage and storage areas, and record transactions in the system.
• Follow 5S standards for the work area.
• Move finished chillers from production areas to yard storage areas and enter related data into systems.
• Rotate among work areas or stations as assigned according to staffing and production needs.
