About The Position

Prinsco is seeking a Material Handler to keep materials organized, move them safely, and ensure they are ready to support production. The role contributes to an efficient and safe work environment by handling materials accurately and responsibly. Working as part of a team, the Material Handler follows safety practices and helps operations run smoothly through attention to detail, reliability, accountability, and a willingness to learn.

The position is based at the Jesup Plant in Jesup, Iowa, and is on the second shift. The listed pay range is $19.00–$21.00 per hour. Work takes place in a production environment that is not temperature controlled and may occasionally involve varying outdoor weather conditions and loud noise.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least six months of manufacturing experience.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to perform arithmetic using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Valid state driver’s license; some locations require a CDL.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds for one-third of the day and 75 pounds for less than one-third of the day.
• Ability to use hands and reach with hands and arms for over two-thirds of the workday.
• Ability to stand, walk, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl for over two-thirds of the workday.
• Distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to differentiate colors.
• Ability to work in a production environment that is not temperature controlled, occasionally outdoors in varying weather, and in a loud noise environment.
• Commitment to working safely with required tools and equipment and wearing required PPE.

Nice To Haves

• Forklift experience; ability to achieve forklift certification.
