About The Position

The Material Handler safely and efficiently supplies the plant with packaging and raw materials, moves finished goods into stock, and loads and unloads trucks. This is a 12-hour midnight shift, typically scheduled from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must possess or be able to develop a high degree of forklift operation skills.
• Must be trainable to operate tractors and move trailers around the yard and into truck bays.
• Able to repeatedly lift, carry, and stack boxes weighing 20–50 pounds during the shift.
• Able to push or pull up to 100 pounds at times during the shift.
• Able to operate a forklift safely in congested areas.
• Able to work well with numbers and keep orderly, accurate records.
• Able to perform computer transactions with a high level of accuracy.
• Able to perform repetitive hand and arm motions for extended periods and use ladders.
• Able to interact professionally with various departments, customers, and carriers.
• Able to work under time pressure and perform several tasks at the same time.
• Able to learn the operation and troubleshooting of robotic palletizers.

Nice To Haves

• Prior warehouse experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supply the plant with packaging and new raw materials.
• Remove finished goods from production and place them into storage.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Stack pallets neatly in various types of racking.
• Receive inbound shipments.
• Perform inventory counts, including cycle counting and stock rotation.
• Perform general warehouse housekeeping.
• Perform other duties as directed by the supervisor.
