About The Position

Bell Flavors & Fragrances is seeking a Material Handler to join our Manufacturing team in Northbrook, IL. This position plays an important role in supporting production by moving raw materials, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring materials are available for compounding and related production activities. The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, safety-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse and production environment.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required.
Ability to read and understand English instructions, labels, safety information, reports, and training materials.
Ability to use computers and warehouse management systems.
Must be able to understand and follow SOPs, SSOPs, GMPs, and job-specific work instructions.

Nice To Haves

Three months of related experience and/or training preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Previous warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing experience preferred.
Forklift or material handling equipment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Retrieve raw materials from the warehouse and deliver them to the compounding area based on production needs.
Accurately transfer materials between warehouse and production locations using ERP systems and handheld barcode scanners.
Return raw materials to warehouse locations after use and help maintain inventory accuracy.
Follow FEFO inventory practices and support cycle counting activities.
Replenish materials, solutions, PG, and ethanol alcohol totes used in production.
Assist with batch processing, resampling, and submitting materials to Quality Control as needed.
Pull samples for raw materials and finished goods evaluations.
Operate material handling equipment, including forklifts and handheld barcode scanners.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Follow all company safety policies, GMPs, SOPs, and food safety requirements.
