About The Position

Rittal LLC is hiring a Material Handler for its Urbana, Ohio location. The role supports warehouse and manufacturing operations by receiving, verifying, storing, picking, staging, and moving materials, while maintaining inventory accuracy and following safety and quality standards. The position involves using RF scanners, forklifts, and other material-handling equipment, and cross-training across warehouse functions. The third-shift role pays $21.87 per hour, with an additional $1.00 per hour shift differential.

Requirements

Forklift certification is required.
Ability to use RF scanners and basic computer systems, including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights up to 20 feet.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, and reach frequently throughout the shift.
Effective communication skills and willingness to learn and adapt.
Wear safety-toed footwear, safety glasses with side shields, hearing protection, and other required PPE.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Prior warehouse or material-handling experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Accurately receive and verify inbound stock from vendors.
Use RF scanners to put away stock and manage inventory.
Pick, bundle, and stage customer orders for shipment.
Load and unload trucks using forklifts and other material-handling equipment.
Transport materials to and from production areas as needed.
Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and internal audits.
Support 6-S initiatives and perform general housekeeping duties.
Cross-train in multiple warehouse and material-handling functions.
Follow safety and quality standards to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
