About The Position

Perform product movement within warehouses and/or the manufacturing facility, manually or using powered industrial equipment such as forklifts, pallet trucks, operator-up equipment, and tuggers. The role includes pulling inventory, moving stock and other materials to fulfill requirements, and loading and unloading product deliveries and staging them in designated locations.

Requirements

• Be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
• Possess a high school diploma or GED.
• Successfully complete the company's powered industrial equipment certification program.
• Be capable of operating various types of powered industrial equipment.
• Demonstrate basic computer skills.
• Be willing and able to learn new things within a reasonable timeframe.
• Work flexible and overtime hours as necessary.
• Stand and walk for long periods.
• Regularly lift and/or move 15 pounds, frequently lift and/or move 30 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and bend, kneel, and squat.
• Have close, distant, and peripheral vision and depth perception.
• Withstand non-climate-controlled environments.

• Prior SAP knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Use powered industrial equipment, including forklifts, pallet trucks, operator-up equipment, and tuggers, to provide materials as required.
• Maintain working knowledge of part numbers, part usage, and applications.
• Learn and complete required standard work instructions within a reasonable timeframe and execute the associated job tasks.
• Load and unload trucks according to established procedures and safety specifications.
• Inspect powered industrial equipment for defects before operating each shift and notify a Supervisor or Team Leader of needed repairs, in compliance with OSHA regulations.
• Complete assigned tasks productively and on time.
• Maintain an acceptable attendance record in accordance with company policy.
• Work well with others.
• Take on other assigned tasks as needed.
