Job Summary Primary responsibility of the Material Handler is picking, packing, and shipping world-class guitars. We are seeking career-oriented individuals who desire to become a part of a world-class team. This is a full-time position in an aggressive, fast-paced distribution environment.

Requirements

  • Warehouse experience is desired
  • Attention to detail
  • Small piece part production
  • Computer proficiency
  • Ability to work with a team in a fast-paced, results oriented environment
  • Ability to stand/walk for 8-10 hours per day
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Solutions oriented approach to challenges/issues
  • Outstanding time management skillset with the ability to prioritize without direct supervision
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Results oriented, taking ownership of goals and objectives
  • Must be a self-starter
  • Mandatory overtime on an as needed basis
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience should center on daily production requirements
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team

Responsibilities

  • Picking, packing, and shipping world-class guitars
  • Performing pulling kits
  • Accepting deliveries
  • Distributing kits to the main plant
  • Counting and weighing parts and data entry for inventory purposes
  • Housekeeping duties within the warehouse
  • Restock the area with the necessary supplies
  • Driving a forklift
  • Adherence to the Gibson Cardinal Safety Rules as per the Gibson Playbook for Cardinal Safety Rules and General Safety Rules
  • Support the comprehensive Safety Management System (SMS) to ensure a safe work environment, maintain compliance with regulations, and improvement of our safety processes
