About The Position

Emerson is seeking a Material Handler for an exciting opportunity in Olive Branch, MS. This role is responsible for Less than Case (LTC) picking and packing of product, adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure accurate order fulfillment in a production environment. The position does not involve operating equipment. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. The shift schedule will be determined after training, with options for 1st shift (6:00 am to 2:30 pm M-F) and 2nd Shift (2:00 pm to 10:30 pm M-F).

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED.
A minimum of 6 months of warehouse, picker, or related experience.
Willingness and ability to work in a warehouse environment.
Ability to work overtime as required, to include occasional weekends.
Ability to stand, squat, bend, lift, push, and pull for the entire shift, handling product/cartons weighing up to 50 lbs.
Ability to work overtime and weekends when necessary.
Good communication and collaboration skills, and ability to work in a team environment.
Ability to follow directions and complete tasks safely.
Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice To Haves

Warehouse experience.

Basic math skills including counting.

Responsibilities

Picking and packing product orders using a RF scanner.
Completing all work accurately and efficiently.
Communicating effectively and working in a high-demand productivity environment.
Maintaining high attention to quality and quantity detail.
Performing daily housekeeping responsibilities.
Adhering to all safety rules, policies, and procedures.
Functioning as a non-equipment operator.
Performing other duties as assigned.
