About The Position

As a Material Handler at GXO, you will help provide supply chain solutions by moving materials and inventory throughout the facility. The role includes handling and processing products, verifying and labeling orders, using material-handling equipment and handheld scanners, and maintaining a safe and clean work environment. The schedule is Thursday through Sunday, 8:00 PM to 6:30 AM.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Be able to perform basic math calculations, with and without a calculator.
• Be able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedural documents.

Nice To Haves

• One year of experience in a warehouse environment.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including possible overtime when needed.
• Experience using a handheld scanner.
• A positive attitude and ability to work with a team to achieve goals and objectives.

Responsibilities

• Move material and inventory throughout the facility to support operations.
• Use hand trucks, conveyors, and other material-handling equipment.
• Perform duties that may include packing, scanning, kitting, or counting products.
• Verify orders, label products, and use a handheld scanner.
• Adhere to the 7S program.
• Maintain a clean environment.
• Work safely to protect yourself and team members.
